Where our story began

Four Plus Corporation was incorporated by John S. Appleby in 1935 to transfer ownership of New York City real estate assets that he inherited from his father to future generations of his family. Beginning in the early 1990s, Four Plus Corporation began expanding its portfolio beyond New York into real estate markets throughout the eastern United States. Today, we own commercial, office, retail, and industrial properties in real estate markets across Georgia, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

NYC Ground Leases

Four Plus, together with other co-tenants, owns two parcels of land in New York City. Both parcels have been ground leased to prominent New York development companies. The “North Parcel” is located between 57th and 58th Streets and 11th Avenue and the West End Highway. The “South Parcel” is located across 57th Street from the North Parcel.

Bonaventure I & II make up this 160,000-square-foot, two-building office complex which is owned jointly with a subsidiary of Hollingsworth Funds, a local Greenville charitable organization.  Located within the Verdae development, this complex is easily accessible from downtown Greenville and prime suburban retail developments. Major tenants include Southern First Bank, DR Horton Homebuilders, and Alliance Consulting Engineers.

Walden Station Student Housing is a 96-unit, 216-bed student housing project developed as a joint venture with Brown Investment Properties. It sits adjacent to UNC Charlotte’s picturesque college campus.
